Joint Delegation From UNICEF And Ministry Of Education & Training Of Vietnam Visits JULES Singapore

IMore Than 10 Officials And Experts From The Unicef, The Ministry Of Education & Training(MOET), And The Ministry Of Labor & Social Security(Molisa) Conducted A 3-Day Visit To JULES Singapore, As A Follow-Up Event After Both Parties’ First Meeting In Hanoi In Jan This Year. The Delegation Was Led By The Deputy Minister Of MOET Vietnam, And Have Made An In-Depth Observation On The Development And Implementation Of “School Of Fish” Curriculum Through Multi-Dimensional Activities, Which Opened The Curtain Of The Prelude To Official Cooperation Between The 2 Parties.

 

3 Panelists — Edmund Lim, A Well-Known Singapore Education Expert And Author Of The Book “Where’s Grandma?”, Karl Engkvsit, President Of Taylors Education Group, And Adam Chen, Co-Founder Of Qkids — Were Invited To The First Day’s Panel Discussion To Share Their Stories And Challenges In Achieving “Digital Learning”, “Social Emotion” And “Transferable Skills” For Children.

CEO Sok Khim Said That Digital Literacy Is An Important Dimension In Children’s Multi-Intelligence Development, Which Is Why “School Of Fish” Curriculum Was Introduced At The First Place. The “Kids-Centered” Teaching Paradigm Left A Deep Impression On Vietnam Experts.

The Delegation Also Paid A Visit To The Ministry Of Education Of Singapore. In-Depth Discussion Was Conducted On Topics Like “Computational Thinking”, “Digital Literacy” And “Innovative Classroom” , And On Issues Such As Improving Education Equality And National Literacy. The Event Officially Opened The Prelude To Collaboration Between Both Parties. More Children Are Expected To Learn And Master The Core 21st Century Skill In The Foreseeable Future.
